Professional Experience

Alfred Shehadeh focuses his practice on private negotiations and legal conflict resolution, particularly within the business sector and the sub-specialty of preliminary negotiations. His expertise is characterized by a high capacity for structuring complex agreements and facilitating the efficient resolution of commercial disputes through Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) mechanisms.

His practice spans from the negotiation of commercial contracts to mediation and arbitration of corporate controversies. He provides strategic counsel in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), joint ventures, and strategic alliances. He possesses specific expertise in drafting preliminary agreements, Letters of Intent (LOI), and Memoranda of Understanding (MoU) that establish the framework for large-scale transactions.

Furthermore, he has extensive experience in translation and interpretation, with native and professional proficiency in multiple languages, enabling him to provide specialized services in International Law. This linguistic competence offers a distinct advantage in representing foreign clients and handling cross-border transactions, facilitating effective communication between parties from different jurisdictions and legal cultures.

His international law background includes advising on international contracts, foreign trade compliance, and representation in disputes involving foreign elements. This specialization allows him to effectively navigate the legal complexities of a globalized commercial environment.

Between 2017 and 2024, Alfred served in various law firms, an experience that allowed him to develop a comprehensive vision of commercial law from diverse perspectives and consolidate his expertise in both national and international arenas.

Professional Experience

Raed currently serves as a Specialist in Agreements within the NOC SD department, where he has been instrumental since 2023 in managing strategic agreements and coordinating departmental operations within the national energy sector. This role is a continuation of his extensive international career, building upon his time as a Partnership Specialist for the World Logistics Passport (2022–2023).

In that capacity, he operated within a global trade framework, conducting vital market research and due diligence to drive country-level strategy and manage international partner requirements.

Prior to his corporate roles, Raed spent nearly a decade in the diplomatic sector as Head of Public Relations for the Libyan Embassy (2014–2023). This position required a sophisticated understanding of international relations as he managed the complex needs of the Head of Mission, coordinated visiting foreign delegations, and facilitated the legalization of international certificates and documentation.

Since 2012, he has also maintained a robust practice as a Professional Freelance Translator and Interpreter, leveraging his expertise to bridge communication gaps in Arabic, English, and Spanish for multinational organizations. His career is defined by a consistent ability to navigate diverse legal and cultural jurisdictions, facilitating effective cross-border cooperation.
